Stop & Shop workers across New England voted today to approve a new contract with Stop & Shop supermarkets. The new agreement, affecting over 40,000 workers in hundreds of stores in Southern New England, comes after a difficult round of negotiations complicated by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act recently enacted by Congress. More information will be provided on this website and on your local union websites to help members answer questions about how the new agreement will impact them.

The five UFCW Local presidents wish to extend a big "thank you" to all our rank-and-file negotiating team members who provided invaluable insight to us during this tough round of negotiations. We also deeply appreciate the patience and unity demonstrated by our members during this particularly complicated negotiation process.
